TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in highly reliable and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that the company will showcase its technology solutions at three defense industry events in August. TCS invites attendees to stop by the TCS booth at each event and learn about the company's products and services.

The month kicks off Aug. 9-11 at The Expeditionary C4 (XC4) Users' Conference in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The XC4 Users' Conference will host command, control, communications and computer stakeholders from across the Marine Corps, government agencies, industry and related organizations. The conference is designed to advance the awareness, development, employment, and support for XC4 capabilities. TCS representatives will be on hand at Booth 62 to discuss the company's capabilities and display its Wireless Point-to-Point Link (WPPL), which provides secure line-of-sight / non-line-of-sight radio frequency communications over terrestrial microwave radio links at distances extending up to 35 miles.

TCS then heads to Baltimore, Maryland, for the AFCEA Technology Showcase, part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Customer & Industry Forum, Aug. 15-18 at the Baltimore Convention Center. The showcase will feature more than 200 industry exhibitors alongside 60 DISA exhibits, providing participants with many opportunities to see the latest in technologies, products and services. TCS technology displayed at the event will include a SwiftLink® Dual Router Kit and a SwiftCell™ small deployable cellular station. TCS will be located in Booth 345 at the AFCEA showcase.

TCS will finish up August at LandWarNet 2011, the largest defense, communications and information technology event in the Southeast, which will be held Aug. 23-25 at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida. The theme of this year's LandWarNet will be "Transforming Cyber While at War." Hundreds of technologies and solutions will be demonstrated at the event, including TCS' SwiftLink TROPO, SwiftLink SNAP baseband, SwiftCell Tactical Cellular, and SwiftPoint™ 360 antenna positioner, all of which enable secure, mission-critical communications for today's warfighters. TCS will be located in Booth 611 at LandWarNet 2011.
