TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a world leader in high availability and secure mobile communication technology, today announced that it has received a one-year, $1.2 million contract from the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) to provide the U.S. Army Central Command (CENTCOM) with space segment for its satellite operations. CENTCOM is funding this procurement through GSA's SATCOM-II contract vehicle.
