ANNAPOLIS, MD (NASDAQ: TSYS), a leading provider of mission-critical wireless communications, today announced the immediate availability of its comprehensive Information Assurance (IA) services. The TCS IA services encompass Information Systems Security Lifecycle Management (ISSLM); Vulnerability Assessment and Evaluation; and Certification & Accreditation (C&A) Service for the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP). Early customers of the TCS IA services include the United States Marine Corps and Army.

TCS Information Assurance services are available as a stand-alone offering or in support of any integrated systems such as the TCS SwiftLink deployable communications suite. In accordance with official security policies, government customers that purchase TCS SwiftLink systems are required to meet C&A requirements in order to use these products on their highly secured networks. Meeting C&A requirements is frequently a tedious process and an impediment to quickly deploying solutions after contract award. The TCS IA services deliver the necessary documentation and forms to expedite the approval process.

TCS Information Assurance services comprise:

-- Information Systems Security Lifecycle Management (ISSLM) - TCS
methodology maintains the security posture of information systems
throughout the lifecycle in order to enable proper C&A. Through ISSLM, TCS
delivers detailed instructions on how to implement and maintain the
    security of a system.

-- Vulnerability Assessment and Evaluation - The TCS Vulnerability
Assessment Team includes information security assessments (INFOSEC),
INFOSEC evaluations, penetration testing, and remediation through processes
derived directly from the National Security Agency's Information Assessment
Methodology/Information Evaluation Methodology guidance. Through this multi-
level process, TCS examines an organization's security posture and
    addresses deficiencies.

-- Certification & Accreditation (C&A) - C&A Services for DIACAP and
NIACAP enable Federal Government Agencies, such as the Department of
Defense, to meet Federal Information Security Management Act requirements.
Importantly, the TCS process aids in the transition from DITSCAP to DIACAP
and has the ability to support all DIACAP/NIACAP phases.

-- Exercise Support - As soldiers come back from the field, TCS offers
this service to ensure their computer systems are clean and secure. The
service ensures that a system is virus free, that classified data is not
running on an unclassified machine, and meets all the current security
compliance requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guides.

"As we continue to increase our footprint within the government market, many customers requested information assurance services to support our products and solutions," said Michael Bristol, Senior Vice President, TCS Government Solutions Group. "These services are a logical step for us in proactively helping our customers integrate security best practices and meet stringent security requirements. Our IA expertise can also serve as a stand-alone offering to protect our customers with other vendors' products."
