Exploring what’s ‘in’
for cruising in 2007, Travelocity recently conducted a customer survey
to ascertain where cruisers are headed and what they are looking forward
to while cruising in 2007.
Where Cruisers Plan to Go in 2007:
Caribbean – 47%
Mexican Riviera – 10%
Hawaii – 9%
Alaska – 7%
Other – 27%
Additional findings from Travelocity’s Cruise
Survey include:
Sixty-eight percent of respondents said making the most of shore
excursions and exploration of exotic locales was their idea of a great
cruise;
Fifty-two percent of respondents agree that onboard entertainment and
nightlife make for a great cruise experience and;
Seventy percent of respondents replied “no”
or “It doesn’t
matter” when asked: Is it important to you
to have cell phone or laptop service while cruising?
