IgoUgo, one of the world’s leading online
travel communities, announced today that Peter Campion has been promoted
to General Manager.
Campion joined IgoUgo in 2006 and previously held the position of
Product Manager.
Prior to IgoUgo, Campion was a Director of Product Development at
Thomson Financial, where his team developed and managed a suite of
web-based products targeted to the Investor Relations community.
Having visited over 25 countries, driven across the U.S. on a tour of
national parks, and biked from Boston to Chicago, Campion brings to
the position both a true passion for travel and extensive product
development experience.
Campion takes over as General Manager for Tony Cheng, a co-founder of
IgoUgo who has moved on to pursue other areas of interest. Campion’s
appointment is effective immediately.
