Trend Micro Announces Results of Share Buyback

TOKYO, March 30 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trend Micro (TSE:4704)(NASDAQ:TMIC), a leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services, today announced the results of its share buyback program pursuant to Article 165(2) of the Corporation Law of Japan. The share buyback program was approved pursuant to a resolution adopted at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on March 20, 2007.

   2. Number of shares purchased
      819,000 shares
   3. Aggregate cost of shares purchased
      2,533,155,000 yen
