Total Logistics, Inc. Awarded Supply Chain Services Contract From
Major Retailer
MILWAUKEE, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Total Logistics, Inc.
(NASDAQ:TLCX) announced today that its subsidiary, Total Logistic Control (TLC)
has been awarded a multi-year contract to supply deli products to over 150
store locations for a large retail merchandise chain. Under the terms of this
new agreement, TLC will procure frozen, refrigerated and dry deli and bakery
products based upon daily orders sent from each retail outlet. TLC will
inventory and warehouse these items and build store-ready custom pallets which
will be cross-docked and delivered to store locations. This operation will
commence in August 2004 and utilize one of TLC's multi-temperature warehouse
facilities in Kalamazoo, Michigan and run 24/5, optimizing the freshness and
quality of these food products.
Commenting on the announcement, William T. Donovan, President and CEO, said,
