Tii Network Technologies, Inc. Appoints Christopher James Vice President Operations

EDGEWOOD, LONG ISLAND, N.Y., Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tii Network Technologies, Inc. ('Tii') (NASDAQ:TIII), a leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing network products for the communications industry, today announced the appointment of Christopher James as Vice President Operations.  Mr. James currently serves as Vice President Quality Assurance at Tii.

In his new role, Mr. James will be assuming responsibilities for purchasing, inventory management and manufacturing control. Mr. James has extensive operations and manufacturing experience in the United States, Europe, Mexico and several countries in South East Asia.

Prior to joining Tii, Mr. James was Director of Engineering and Quality of manufacturing operations located in China and the Philippines for Photocircuits Corporation, a company supplying high volume production and assembly of printed circuit boards to the automotive, telecommunications and computer marketplace. He also managed the New York and Monterrey, Mexico inspection and test functions of Photocircuits Corporation. Mr. James earned his Masters degree in Materials Science and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics from Durham University.
