Symantec Corp. (SYMC) has agreed to sell its Enterprise Security assets including the Symantec name to Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) for $10.7 billion.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported a deal was in the works.
Broadcom said the deal will "significantly expand" its infrastructure software footprint.
