InfoSpace Completes Acquisition of Switchboard Incorporated 


WESTBORO, Mass., June 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Switchboard Incorporated
(NASDAQ:SWBD), a leading provider of local online advertising solutions and
internet-based yellow pages, today announced that InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ:INSP)
has completed the acquisition of the Company in accordance with the terms of
the definitive agreement announced March 26, 2004.  InfoSpace acquired
Switchboard for $7.75 per share, or approximately $160 million in cash.

Switchboard was officially de-listed from NASDAQ effective at the close of
business today.
