From Sep 2019 to Sep 2024
At the 2007 SHOT Show, Security With Advanced Technology, Inc.
(Nasdaq:SWAT) (Nasdaq:SWATW) today launched Veritas Tactical, an elite
tactical training division which will initiate a line of innovative
products and services to increase the quality of training for law
enforcement, governments and civilians worldwide.
“In a time wrought with violence and unrest,
new and innovative options for security and training are in demand, and
Veritas Tactical, was created in response to customer requests to
address such needs,” said Scott Sutton,
president of SWAT. “This world-class training
division broadens SWAT’s reach into the
security market by adding to our existing portfolio of safety and
security solutions for people, facilities and transportation.”
Veritas Tactical’s training approach combined
with its upcoming line of products encompasses numerous disciplines to
develop innovative training and security options that reach beyond
traditional products and methods available on the market today. Members
of the initial instructor team have been active in U.S. Special
Operations, private security for the U.S. Department of State, and
civilian law enforcement agencies. The teams current training
engagements include units of the U. S. military, civilian law
enforcement, and instruction at both the corporate and college level.
“We created Veritas Tactical because of an
increasing demand for proven products and credible training techniques,”
said Ben Cook, director and chief instructor. “Because
of significant product gaps and a high demand, governments and law
enforcement organizations are inundated with new, sub-standard quick-fix
tools and classes every year. We aim to guide our clients through this
confusing landscape by offering them practical solutions that directly
address their needs.”
Veritas Tactical has an ongoing engagement training U.S. Marines,
featuring an entirely new Weapon Retention and Disarmament curriculum
and a Tactical Edged Weapon program designed for the military at the
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
“Veritas Tactical meets the high standards
required of training systems used by The Marine Corps because our
state-of-the-art and continuously evolving techniques are directly
responsive to new situations faced by Marines deployed in peacekeeping
and conflict situations around the world,”
said Cook. “Veritas Tactical takes pride in
teaching skills that save lives.”
