SSA Global to Resell Synapsis' EMARS Environmental Compliance Solution 


SPRING HOUSE, Pa., April 10  /PRNewswire/ -- Synapsis Technology, Inc., a provider of environmental compliance and Product Lifecycle Intelligence(TM) solutions, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with SSA Global(TM) (NASDAQ:SSAG), a leading global provider of enterprise business software and services.  Through this agreement, SSA Global will resell Synapsis' patent-pending Environmental Material Aggregation and Reporting System (EMARS(TM)).

Manufacturers and their suppliers, especially in the electronics and automotive industries, are continually facing new industry regulations in which they must comply in order to do business in certain countries. Environmental regulations such as the ELV (European End of Life Vehicle), RoHS (Restrictions on the use of certain Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives are just a few examples.
