"Green City's eco-innovative technology and knowledge will be perfect additions to our renewable energy development roadmap," said John Graham, CEO of Building Turbines, Inc. Solar installations, energy audits, residential and commercial eco-weatherization techniques, as well as other renewable energy innovations will be added to the products and services now offered by Building Turbines Inc.
Building Turbines, Inc. is also in negotiations for a licensing agreement with the founding members of The BlueWind Project including Alex Moran, Nidia Campos, Craig Bach, and Blake Manson, the former owner of Green City Development LLC. "We already have tremendous interest in the micro-turbine among non-profit organizations that assist families in developing countries, and we anticipate inquiries about it to grow exponentially once we fully implement our marketing strategy for the product," said Graham. The BlueWind Project is a production and sales approach of micro-wind turbines called VAWmG's (Vertical Axis Wind microGenerators) to be distributed into third-world countries. Building Turbines supports Manson and his team for the micro-wind turbine as well as the vertical integration of several components to the turbine such as LED lighting and magnetic levitation hubs.
The turbine could potentially benefit billions of people worldwide because of its low cost and ease of use. "We have already seen orders from our connections in Guatemala, which will be the host of our initial marketing program, even before the product has been officially released," Manson said. Manson had lived in the country for almost two years making connections and understanding the people before designing the final production prototype micro-generator with his team.
