NEW YORK, July 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of State National Cos. ("State National" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SNC) concerning the proposed sale of the Company to Markel Corp. ("Markel").

Under the terms of the agreement, Markel would acquire State National in a transaction valued at approximately $919 million.  Pursuant to the deal, State National stockholders will receive $21.00 in cash per share.  At least one analyst has price target of $22.00 per share.
