announced it will be presenting for the first time to investors at the Keefe,
Bruyette & Woods (KBW) Honor Roll and Sixth Annual Community Bank Investor
Conference.  The conference will begin on Tuesday, July 26 at The Pierre Four
Seasons Hotel in New York City.

SNB Bancshares President and Chief Executive Officer Harvey Zinn and Chief
Financial Officer Darrell Brewer are scheduled to present on Wednesday, July
27, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.  Their presentation will be 25
