Silicon Image (NASDAQ: SIMG), a leading provider of HD connectivity solutions, today announced that its UltraGig™ 6400 ultra low-power 60GHz WirelessHD® mobile transmitter was named a winner of a People’s Choice Stevie® Award for favorite new products in the Consumer Electronics category of The 11th Annual American Business Awards. The UltraGig 6400 was recognized for wirelessly connecting mobile devices to DTVs and large displays with cable-like video quality. The crystal People’s Choice Stevie Awards will be presented to winners during a gala banquet on Monday, September 16 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco, CA.
