SafeNet, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFNT), setting the standard for information
security, and MontaVista Software, the leading provider of Linux for
intelligent devices and communications infrastructure, today announced a
partnership to offer comprehensive security solutions for MontaVista
Linux-based gateways and mobile VPN clients.
By combining QuickSec, the world’s first full
mobility IPSec VPN toolkit, with MontaVista Linux and MontaVista
Mobilinux operating systems, OEM developers will be able to build the
most robust and current IPSec security standards, such as MOBIKE, into
carrier-grade security gateways, network routers, as well as Mobile VPN
devices and desktop VPN clients.

MontaVista and SafeNet will be jointly demonstrating the IPSec security
solution April 3 - 5, 2007 in MontaVista’s
booth #1640 at the Embedded Systems Conference and Exhibition, being
held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The
demonstration will show QuickSec running on the MontaVista Linux
operating system, while showcasing the performance benefits of
offloading cryptographic data to dedicated hardware.
