Siebel (NASDAQ:SEBL)
Historical Stock Chart
From Jun 2019 to Jun 2024
Siebel Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:SEBL), a leading provider
of customer-facing solutions, today announced two significant
additions to its Siebel University training and learning services
division that will further empower the expanding Siebel community to
build their business around their customers. Introduced today, Siebel
University's Virtual Classroom combines the benefits of traditional
instructor-led training with easy-to-use technology that enables
students to pursue their Siebel technical education from the
convenience of their desktop. In addition, the company is shipping
Siebel SimBuilder, an intuitive content development tool that provides
both Siebel and non-Siebel customers with an easy, efficient, and
cost-effective way to develop training content once and publish it in
many formats.
"Siebel Systems' key measure of success is defined by our
customers' success," said Brad Samargya, Group Vice President, Siebel
University. "We are committed to helping ensure this success by
delivering a combination of processes, programs, and technologies, as
well as our extensive network of partners. Through Siebel University,
we deliver a proven set of services to facilitate the integration of
Siebel CRM solutions within an organization's business processes,
educate individuals on how to best optimize Siebel products, and offer
best-of-breed learning solutions that enable organizations to develop
and deliver their own training solutions quickly and efficiently. This
helps ensure our customers and partners achieve the highest levels of
user adoption and business results essential for complete success."
Siebel Virtual Classroom
Siebel University's Virtual Classroom delivers live, highly
interactive training over the Internet with the direction and support
of a Siebel instructor. This delivery format reduces training expenses
and students' out-of-office downtime, while delivering the same
high-quality learning experience, including virtual lab exercises,
found in classroom learning. Live interaction between students and
teachers enables teachers to adjust the pace of learning to individual
needs as well as those of the overall class. Similarly, students are
provided with direction and support from a "live" instructor, thereby
enhancing the quality of their education. Finally, students can
reinforce what they have learned in real Siebel environments in a
virtual lab. Siebel Virtual Classroom extends Siebel University
training beyond the traditional training center, including a selection
of short one- and two-day courses for which customers would not
typically wish to travel.
Siebel SimBuilder
Available for use by both Siebel customers and non-Siebel
customers, Siebel SimBuilder is an intuitive content development tool
that enables training developers to build their own rich, interactive
online training programs by providing an easy, efficient, and
cost-effective way to develop training content once and publish it in
many formats. With this release Siebel SimBuilder enables training
developers to produce help files for the Siebel iHelp feature at the
same time they build classroom or Web-based training. Developers can
use Siebel SimBuilder to create rich interactive training simulations,
narrated presentations, software application demonstrations,
text-based classroom documentation, visual reference guides, or help
system content.
