Saucony's Fuhr Gives and Takes Five; Ironman Winner Donates $5,000 To Lake Placid Charity

Saucony, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCNYA and SCNYB), a leading

accessories, today announced that Saucony sponsored triathlete,
Heather Fuhr, in winning her fifth Ironman Lake Placid Triathlon,
donated $5,000 to the Lake Placid Child Care Committee.
   "I have been fortunate enough to be able to make a living doing
what I love and to be able to give something back to the community is
a wonderful feeling," said Fuhr, a Saucony sponsored athlete for eight
years and a member of the Tri-Dubai triathlon team.
   The LPCCC provides affordable after school care for children of
working parents. LPCCC is a not-for-profit organization that strives
to minimize costs to parents through donations.
   The win was Fuhr's first Ironman title in two years, since she
last won in Placid. She is gearing up for the Ironman Triathlon World
Championship to be held October 15, 2005. Fuhr, with fourteen Ironman
Championships, is positioned second on the all-time Ironman win list.
