Satcon Announces Addition to Executive Management Team

Satcon Technology Corporation (NASDAQ CM: SATC), a leading provider of utility scale power solutions for the renewable energy market today announced the appointment of Aaron Gomolak as Vice President of Global Operations where he will join the company’s executive team to lead worldwide manufacturing and supply chain organizations.

In this new role for Satcon, Mr. Gomolak will lead the expansion of the company’s global manufacturing capacity as well as its quality and supply chain operations. As the global leader in large scale PV inverters, Satcon currently manufactures its industry leading power conversion solutions in Shenzhen, China and Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The company will continue to grow capacity at these facilities to meet escalating global demand for its solutions across Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.

Prior to joining Satcon, Mr. Gomolak was the Managing Director of Altitude Finance where he successfully helped renewable energy and information technology companies expand operations into Asia. Previous to that, Mr. Gomolak spent seven years at Advanced Energy where he held various roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller.
