SatCon Technology Corporation® (Nasdaq CM:
SATC), a developer of power management and system architecture solutions
for the alternative energy and distributed power markets, today
announced that Elie Nasr has joined SatCon as Vice President of Business
Development for its SatCon Power Systems division. Mr. Nasr will
spearhead the next phase of developing SatCon’s
sales team emphasizing solution selling of systems and services of all
its products and targeted applications on a global basis.
Elie Nasr brings a solid track record of achievements spanning the past
20 years with his most recent role as Senior Business Development
Specialist at Siemens PTI involving the promotion, marketing and direct
sales of a suite of products and services which included Transmission
and Distribution Planning and Operational Analysis software in addition
to pursuing Consulting opportunities. In the six years he was with PTI,
he also served as the Technical Architect for the Product Development
team as well as orchestrating alliances and partnerships with EMS, GIS,
DMS, and IT solution providers for the licensing of Siemens products.
Previous roles included Chief Software Engineer and Product Specialist
for the Energy Control Systems Division of GE Energy. Mr. Nasr holds BS
and MS Degrees in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
