Receptos Announces Completion of Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

Receptos, Inc. (Nasdaq:RCPT), a biopharmaceutical company developing therapeutic candidates for the treatment of immune and metabolic diseases, today announced the completion of its initial public offering of 5,200,000 shares of its common stock at an initial public offering price of $14.00 per share. Receptos' common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "RCPT."  In addition, Receptos has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 780,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Leerink Swann LLC and BMO Capital Markets acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Wedbush PacGrow Life Sciences acted as a co-manager.
