Pathmark Renews With Unicru For Additional Two Years; Fortune 500 Supermarket Finds Success in Market-Leading Hiring Management

Unicru(R) Inc. today announced that Pathmark Stores Inc.
(Nasdaq:PTMK) has extended its contract for the Unicru Hiring
Management System for Grocery through June of 2008. Since 2004,
Pathmark has leveraged the system's ability to increase operational
efficiencies and quality and productivity of the company's over 22,000
frontline associates within 141 store locations. Today 60 grocery
banners, including one-third of the nation's top 25 chains, leverage
Unicru's system to select the most productive and dependable
associates from the produce aisle to the corporate office.

   --  Tracking an applicant's referral source (i.e. advertising,
        associate referral) to help Pathmark spend recruiting dollars

        Tax Credits (WOTC) to increase tax credit capture.

   --  Reducing the number of early quits as well as fewer
        involuntary separations to improve associate retention and
        performance.

   --  Providing a seamless integration of multiple systems and
        processes to improve efficiency and focus resources on people
        rather than paper.
