Primus Shareholders Approve Merger With Art Technology Group



SEATTLE, Oct. 22  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Primus Knowledge Solutions, Inc.
(NASDAQ:PKSI) today announced that Primus' proposed merger with Art Technology
Group, Inc. was approved by Primus shareholders at a special meeting held
today.

Over 99.9% of the votes cast approved of the merger.  The votes cast represent
67.7% of the 23.9 million shares eligible to vote on the merger.

The closing of the merger remains subject to the satisfaction of certain
closing conditions specified in the Agreement and Plan of Merger relating to
the transaction, including approval by the shareholders of Art Technology
Group.  A copy of the merger agreement is contained in the Proxy Statement
relating to the transaction on file with the SEC, which may be viewed at
