Primus CEO Michael Brochu Honored by Alma Mater as an
'Distinguished Alumni'
SEATTLE, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Primus Knowledge Solutions
(NASDAQ:PKSI) today announced that Michael Brochu, president, CEO, and chairman
of the board of Primus, has been recognized by his alma mater, The University
of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in conjunction with its 90th Anniversary
Celebration, as one of its distinguished alumni.
Each year, UTEP recognizes notable graduates from each of its six colleges.
Recipients receive the coveted "Golden Nugget" which exemplifies the quality of
the university through the accomplishments of its graduates. Brochu will be
honored by the College of Business Administration on October 15 as part of
UTEP's homecoming celebration.
Brochu graduated from UTEP in 1974 with a degree in finance and accounting. He
has more than 30 years of experience in driving growth in emerging and
established markets for companies including Primus, Sierra On-Line, and
Burlington Environmental Inc.
Brochu joined Primus in 1997 and currently serves on the boards of the WSA,
several public and private technology companies, and sits on the advisory
boards for two venture capital firms.
