Pixar Announces Release Date for Fourth Quarter and Full-Year

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Jan. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pixar Animation Studios
(NASDAQ:PIXR) today announced that management will report fourth quarter and
full-year 2004 earnings results Thursday, February 10, 2005 following market
close.  Pixar's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Jobs, and Executive
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Simon Bax, will conduct an earnings
release teleconference to discuss information relevant to the fourth quarter
results and other recent or upcoming developments affecting the company's
operations.  The teleconference will be held Thursday, February 10, 2005 at
5:00 p.m. EST, 2:00 p.m. PST.
