Pegasus Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:PEGS) today announced
that Vincci Hotels has selected Pegasus' Web services to expand and
promote the hotel chain's online presence. Vincci Hotels is based in
Madrid with 30 four- and five-star hotels, located in Spain, Tunisia,
Lisbon and New York City. Dallas-based Pegasus is a global leader in
providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors.
New York-based Open provides pay-for-performance management of
direct-to-Web site strategies.
A long-standing Utell by Pegasus(TM) member, Vincci Hotels is the
first European chain to select the new Web services, which represent
the industry's first integration of Internet marketing and electronic
distribution services. The Web services are the result of integration
between Pegasus and Open Hospitality. Through the integrated offering,
Open Hospitality manages numerous online activities to generate
bookings, and Pegasus hotel customers pay only for a percentage of the
reservations directly generated by these activities.
