Overnite Opens New, Expanded Denver Service Center
DENVER, April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Overnite Transportation Company,
one of the nation's leading less-than-truckload carriers, announced this week
the official opening of its new Denver Service Center, an important facility in
its distribution network for the West and the entire nation.

The new facility located on a 20-acre site features 90 doors, doubling the
capacity of Overnite's former Denver Service Center. Overnite's new center,
which employs 84 people, is the latest in a series of company upgrades, market
expansions and transit-time improvements.
"Relocating our Denver Service Center has allowed us to strengthen our service
capabilities by increasing the capacity of this key location," said Steve
Kershner, Vice President-Quality and Operations Support. "As our customers'
needs in Denver and the surrounding area have grown, we have grown with them so
we can continue to deliver the reliable, on-time service they have come to
expect from Overnite."
Overnite's Denver facility provides next-day service across the Denver
metropolitan area, as well as to Kansas City, Kan., and Salt Lake City. Its
two-day service extends into key markets in the West and Midwest including
Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Oklahoma City,
and into Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Freight destined for
points in California, Oregon and Washington State, as well as to select markets
in the South and along the Atlantic Coast, fall under a three- day umbrella.
