Customer Survey Ranks Overnite Online Service Industry Best
RICHMOND, Va., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In a customer survey of the
nation's largest transportation, distribution and logistics firms, Overnite
Transportation Company received the industry's highest grade on how
corporations treat their online customers.

Overnite, one of the nation's largest less-than-truckload companies, outpaced
all competitors in the Trucking and Truck Leasing category. The industry
average Customer Respect Index (CRI) stood at 5.9. Overnite topped all
companies with a CRI of 8.2.
The independent Boston-based Customer Respect Group conducted the Second
Quarter 2005 Online Customer Respect Study. Results of the survey were
released this week.
The study measures and analyzes corporate performance from an online customer's
perspective and assigns a CRI rating to each company. Measured indicators
include Simplicity, Responsiveness, Privacy, Attitude, Transparency and
Principles.
