Common Stock Offering 


PRINCETON, N.J., Oct. 21  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Opinion Research
Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCI) today announced that it has filed a Registration
Statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") for a
proposed follow-on public offering of shares of its common stock with a value
at the offering price of up to $50 Million.  In addition, the company has
granted to the underwriters an option to purchase additional shares of its
common stock to cover over-allotments, if any, with a value at the offering
price of up to $7.5 Million.

Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co., Inc. is acting as underwriter.  The offering of
the securities is made only by means of a prospectus, copies of which may be

portion of its senior bank debt.
