Netsmart Technologies, Inc. Announces Grant of Options to Newly-Hired Employees

GREAT RIVER, N.Y., Nov. 4  /PRNewswire/ -- Netsmart Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTST), a leading supplier of enterprise-wide software solutions for health and human services providers, today announced that, in connection with its acquisition of CMHC Systems, Inc. on September 28, 2005, it has awarded, to various employees of CMHC Systems that were hired by Netsmart or an affiliate, options to purchase an aggregate 30,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $14.77 per share, the closing price of its common stock on November 3, 2005.  All of the options have a ten year term and become exercisable over a period of three years from the date of grant.
