Logan H. Winn Joins as Senior Wealth Advisor

Northern Trust announced today that Logan H. Winn has joined the firm’s Wealth Advisory Services group, which specializes in serving high-net-worth clients with investment management, trust and banking solutions. Based in Washington, D.C., Winn is a senior vice president and senior wealth advisor, reporting to Brett Rees, president of Northern Trust Wealth Management’s Mid-Atlantic Region. Winn brings more than 15 years of estate and tax planning, and has extensive experience in financial education to high-net-worth families and individuals.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Winn served as a Director in the McLean, VA office of Abbott Downing, where she provided customized wealth planning advice to ultra-high-net-worth clients. Earlier in her career she was a Family Wealth Advisor at GenSpring Family Offices.

Winn moved to Washington, D.C. to practice law at Holland & Knight and then became a Partner in the Trusts and Estates practice group of Jackson & Campbell, P.C. in Washington, D.C. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Winn received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in History and Studio Art from the University of Richmond, her J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law and her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.

Winn is a Board Member of the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council, and has been named a “Top Money Advisor” in the biennial editions of Washingtonian Magazine in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
