Northern Trust (Nasdaq: NTRS) today announced that Christopher Madigan has joined as a senior business development executive for Insurance Solutions, which provides a full suite of services to help insurers drive operational efficiency, enhance investment yields and mitigate risk.

Madigan brings more than 25 years of financial industry experience to Northern Trust, most recently in a business development role at State Street Corporation focused on asset managers and members of the insurance sector. He will be responsible for building strategic relationships with insurers throughout North America, leveraging Northern Trust’s local and global expertise with the world’s leading insurance organizations. His hiring underscores Northern Trust’s commitment to strategic growth in its Insurance Solutions business, further expanding its capacity and capability following rapid expansion in recent years.
