Frequent Flyer Members Can Earn Up to 7,000 Miles When Banking Online 


PHOENIX, Aug. 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- America West Airlines (NYSE:AWA)
today announced a marketing relationship with NetBank(R) (NASDAQ:NTBK), the
country's first commercially successful Internet bank servicing customers in
all 50 states.  This new partnership enables members of FlightFund, America
West's frequent flyer program, to earn miles when they register for banking
services such as online checking accounts, money market accounts, direct
deposit and online bill payment services.

  Miles can be earned in the following increments on NetBank transactions:
  * 2,500 miles for opening and funding a NetValue or SuperValue checking
    account
  * 2,500 miles for opening and funding a NetVantage Money Market(TM)
    account
  * 1,500 miles for initiating direct deposit with NetBank
  * 500 miles for enrolling in and using NetBank's online bill payment
    service
