Nassda Participates on DATE 2005 Panel in Munich
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Who: Nassda Corp. (NASDAQ:NSDA) announced today that Graham Bell,
senior director of marketing, will participate as a panelist at the
Design Automation and Test in Europe (DATE) 2005 Conference.
What: Mixed-Signal Issues in SoC Designs: Looming Crisis or Innovation
Opportunity?
Currently, Analog and mixed-signal components in an SoC design
comprise only a small percentage of the total number of
transistors, yet consumes a major portion of the development and
verification time. With the continuing momentum to every smaller
process nodes, how will analog and mixed/signal design change to
meet the challenges of smaller supply voltages and resultant
increased sensitivity to signal noise and power-supply noise, as
well as more variability in circuit performance to manufacturing
tolerances such as lithographic and parametric effects across both
die and wafer? What new design and verification strategies are
needed to make design more successful, and improve productivity of
design teams? Will incremental changes be sufficient or will
entirely new approaches be needed?
Who: The following are the panelists:
Moderator: Roland Ackermann
Josef Sauerer, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
Rainer Holzhaider, austriamicrosystems
Frank Schenkel, MUNeda
Tony Strachan, Philips
Marius Sida, Mentor Graphics
Graham Bell, Nassda
Mr. Bell joined Nassda in early 2001 from Averant, Inc. where he
was co-founder and headed marketing. He has 20 years of EDA
experience and has held key marketing positions at Synopsys,
