BOULDER, Colo., March 26  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NaPro BioTherapeutics, Inc. 
today announced that it has entered into a transaction with two institutional
investors for the purchase of an aggregate of 2 million common shares at $2.60
per share in an offering made from its currently effective shelf registration.

"The net proceeds of this investment will help support the continued development
of our new product pipeline and provide additionalfunding for selected
strategic in-licensing opportunities that may arise," commented Leonard P.
