Neoforma Confirms Announcement Date for Third Quarter 2005 Financial Results

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 19  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Neoforma, Inc. (NASDAQ:NEOF), a leading provider of supply chain management solutions for the healthcare industry, confirms its intent to release its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, on Monday, October 24, 2005, after the close of The Nasdaq National Market, as previously announced.  The Company is canceling, however, the previously scheduled conference call and Web cast that were to be held in conjunction with the announcement of its third quarter 2005 financial results.

On October 11, 2005, Neoforma announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with the Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) for GHX to acquire Neoforma.  Neoforma intends to file a proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to this transaction as soon as is practicable.  Until the proxy statement has been filed with the SEC, the Company will continue to be unable to provide additional details with respect to the proposed transaction.
