EDISON, N.J., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Brunswick Scientific Co., Inc. (NBS) (NASDAQ:NBSC), today announced that it has rolled-out two new high-specification incubator shakers, the benchtop Innova(R) 40 and larger capacity Innova 43, bringing the total number of shakers in its already comprehensive product portfolio to more than 30 shaker models-the largest selection offered by any manufacturer. Both new additions to the Innova(R) shaker family feature high-temperature capability to 80 degrees C, optional refrigeration and a programmable controller to automate changes to any operating parameter. These novel enhancements increase precision and efficiency for NBS' customers. President and Chief Operating Officer James Orcutt said: "Accelerated, targeted new-product development is among several strategic initiatives upon which NBS is focused, and the results of this sustained effort are becoming increasingly evident as we move through the year. The roll-out of the Innova 40 and 43 models represents the first in a number of new-product launches scheduled for the second half of 2005. "These latest shaker models not only extend and complement existing products but also offer the competitive advantage of state-of-the-art, multi- step programming capabilities as well as improvements to previous product features and optimized user-friendliness. We continue to invest in our aggressive product development program and expect a number of new roll-outs in the months ahead, all of which are intended to enhance shareholder value."
