Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) Bruce Kiddoo informed Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (the “Company”) of his intent to retire from his position as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective during the second half of calendar year 2019, to support non-profit causes.

On January 10, 2019, the Company issued a press release announcing the planned retirement of Mr. Kiddoo as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
