Overture Networks Launches Worldwide Partner Program
Program To Increase Global Availability Of Its Multi-Service Access Platforms
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Overture Networks, a
leading developer of packet-based multi-service access platforms, today
announced the launch of its worldwide partner program. Through this program,
Overture Networks will team up with leading systems integrators, solutions and
alliance partners to develop, test, and sell solutions focused on themulti-
service access space.
The program provides a foundation for working with organizations that have
complementary customer and product emphases. Under the aegis of the program,
Overture Networks and its partners will work together to increase sales
opportunities and to develop differentiated, interoperable solutions at the
metro edge. The partner program will help Overture Networks align itself with a
variety of global partners throughout the industry to offer carriers and
enterprises the best possible multi-service access platform. Further, members of
the program will receive unprecedented levels of sales support, product training
and certification, marketing and communications, technical support, and
application development consulting.
"Network operators are continually being asked to get more out of their
installed systems. They need to expand and evolve services quickly while
providing new services at lower costs and preparing their network for future
requirements -- in a cost-consciousmanner," said Jeff Reedy, president and
chief executive officer for Overture Networks. "To address these challenges, we
are teaming up with industry-leading companies that will extend the value of our
solution by integrating with more systems and applications in carrier- class
networks, all of which will greatly benefit our mutual customers."
