Micromuse Teams with Alcatel to Demonstrate Best-of Breed Solution for IPTV BSS/OSS

Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of
ultra-scalable, realtime business and service assurance software, is
pleased to announce its involvement in a best-of-breed solution for
IPTV BSS/OSS. Designed and sponsored by Alcatel, the multi-vendor
solution is on permanent display at Alcatel's Plano-based Operational
Support Systems Integrations Laboratory. The solution was opened for
tour, by invitation only, to an exclusive group of TeleManagement
World attendees on November 9, 2005.

Netcool/Realtime Active Dashboards and Netcool/Proviso solutions are
integrated with other vendors products to provide end-to-end service
assurance and performance monitoring of Alcatel's fabricated IPTV
BSS/OSS environment.
