Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of
ultra-scalable, realtime business and service assurance software,
today announced that China Communications World magazine has ranked
Micromuse's Netcool(R) solutions among the top 100 solutions for
China's telecom industry in 2005. Overall, the list names Micromuse
three separate times for its Netcool solutions for IP Management,
Integrated Alarm Management, and Mobile Data Network Management.
Communications World is affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of
Information Industry (MII) and is regarded as one of the most
influential telecom industry publications in China. The objective of
its 'Top 100 Solutions' awards is to recommend the best solutions to
the China telecom industry, helping carriers streamline purchasing
decisions and enabling the industry to raise overall performance and
service levels.
More than 300 candidate solutions, submitted by global telecom
carriers, vendors and mobile service providers including Ericsson,
Nokia, ZET and Huawei, were evaluated by Communications World. This
evaluation program was supported by the Chinese Ministry of
Information Industry and major Chinese carriers including China
Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom.
