Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of

today announced that Scott Sobers, Micromuse's Director of Service
Provider Solutions Marketing, will deliver two presentations at the
Internet Telephony Conference and Expo. The conference will be held
January 24-27, 2006 at the Fort Lauderdale-Broward County Convention
Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Sobers' first presentation, "QoS and Network Monitoring for
Successful Large-Scale VoIP," will take place Tuesday, January 24,
2006 at 3:00 P.M. EST. This session will explore the challenges of
managing IP telephony and converged voice and data infrastructures,
the trends surrounding managed VoIP, and what many services providers
are doing to support their enterprise customers.
The second presentation, "Quality of Service State of the Market,"
will take place Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. EST. This
session will examine the factors that affect VoIP QoS, such as latency
of VoIP, bandwidth, network reliability, and jitter.
Held since 1999, the Internet Telephony Conference and Expo is one
of the world's largest and best-attended VoIP trade shows. Last
October, TMC's Internet Telephony Conference & Expo in Los Angeles
attracted more than 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Telephony products
