Metrologic Announces Management Change

BLACKWOOD, N.J., Aug. 31  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Metrologic Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ:MTLG) today announced that the position of Chief Administrative Officer has been eliminated effective immediately as part of its ongoing cost reduction efforts.  As a result, Frank C. Zirnkilton, Jr., 50, who joined Metrologic Instruments, Inc. in April, has resigned as an officer of the Company.
