ev3 International Files Lawsuit Against Distributors in Hong Kong
and Phoenix
PLYMOUTH, Minn., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- On October 29, 2004, ev3
International, Inc. commenced a lawsuit against Advanced Medical China Hong
Kong Ltd. and Kevin James MacDonald in United States District Court for the
District of Minnesota. The lawsuit alleges that Advanced Medical China Hong
Kong Ltd. and Kevin MacDonald have breached the distribution agreements they
entered into with ev3 International, Inc., by failing to pay more than $750,000
for medical device products sold to Advanced Medical China Hong Kong Ltd.
Kevin MacDonald is also a Director of Arizona Heart Institute (AHI), HKG
Limited, RCF Company Limited and RCFM Company Limited. In addition, he is
Legal Representative and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing
International Heart Hospital.
