IRVINE, Calif., April 25  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Micro Therapeutics, Inc.
(MTI) (NASDAQ:MTIX) today announced it will release its 2005 first quarter
financial results on April 28, 2005 after the market closes.  The company also
said that Tom Wilder, MTI's president and chief executive officer, and James
Corbett, chairman, will host a conference call that same day at 1:30 p.m. PDT
(4:30 p.m. EDT) to review the company's financial results and operations.
