IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 1  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Micro Therapeutics, Inc.
(MTI) (NASDAQ:MTIX) announced today it will release its 2004 third quarter
financial results on November 4, 2004.  The company also said that Tom Wilder,
MTI's president and chief executive officer, Harold Hurwitz, chief financial
officer, and James Corbett, chairman, will host a conference call that same day
at 8:00 a.m. PST (11:00 a.m. EST) to review the company's financial results and
operations.
