The Midland Company Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

CINCINNATI, Jan. 24  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Midland Company (NASDAQ:MLAN), a highly focused provider of specialty insurance products and services, today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 10 cents per share, maintaining the annual dividend at 40 cents per share.  The quarterly dividend is payable April 1, 2008 to shareholders of record on March 20, 2008.  The Midland Company presently has 19,429,000 shares outstanding.
