On October 1, 2018, Mackinac Financial Corporation ( “Mackinac” ) completed its previously announced acquisition of Lincoln Community Bank, Merrill, Wisconsin.  Mackinac issued the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K, which is herein incorporated by reference.  The information under this Item 8.01 and Exhibit 99.1 are furnished to, and not filed with, the Securities and Exchange Commission ( “SEC” ).
