      announces its new line of high speed SFP, XFP, and X2 connectors. The 
      new connectors are designed for use with high speed over copper data 
      transfer SFP, XFP, and X2 transceivers and EMI cages.
    
    
      Methode’s XFP connectors have been tested for 
      speeds up to 10 Gbps. The SFP connector is a 20-position design, the XFP 
      is a 30-position design, and the X2 is a 70-position design. Plating 
      options are available in 15u” gold and 30u” 
      gold. Contacts are gold plated phosphor bronze within an LCP insulator 
      housing. The connectors are highly durable and provide reliable 
      operation in a wide range of temperatures and environments.
    
    
      SFP, XFP, and X2 connector samples are available from stock. Rapid 
      response production times are available and pricing is based on 
      quantity. SFP connectors are priced at less than $0.40 each in volumes
